Adeola is an experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience. Her career has encompassed both clinical practice and leadership roles, balancing direct patient care with quality improvement and clinical governance roles. She possesses a broad perspective on healthcare delivery, having worked in various NHS and private sector settings across England.

Adeola earned her MBChB from the University of Liverpool in 2004, followed by a DRCOG postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2006. In 2009, she became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). To broaden her expertise, Adeola completed an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 2011. This blend of qualifications provides a strong foundation for preventative care.

Adeola’s postgraduate training provided a diverse range of experience across different specialties, including Accident & Emergency, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Medicine, and Urology, shaping her into a versatile and knowledgeable practitioner.

After completing her General Practitioner training in 2009, Adeola worked in a variety of settings, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of primary care. Her early career included posts in NHS GP practices, Bupa clinics, Urgent Care centres, and online telemedicine platforms, offering her a well-rounded primary care background.

Dr. Adeola Oyegbite joined Medelit’s team of Home Visiting Doctors  in London in 2024 and is currently providing home visits for patients in the area of  London and Greater London.
