Having worked in a variety of different fields throughout my life has allowed me to become a well-rounded and experienced individual. Working with one of the UK’s largest private provider of podiatry has allowed me to take on very many responsibilities, ranging from ensuring my patients are receiving the best possible treatment down to general clinical checks and sterilisation and ordering of equipment.

Working within a private clinic has allowed me to perfect my skills in general care including nail care, callus, corns, ingrown nails and various different verrucae treatment. In addition to this, I have begun to specialise in MSK with the majority of my patients suffering with various MSK issues, in which I have then delivered the appropriate treatment mainly designing and making my own insoles and orthotics.

One of my best experiences as a podiatrist was volunteering at Crisis for Christmas. It allowed me to adapt to working in such difficult environments with limited resources, time and space. It further made me realise how necessary podiatry is in this day and age and how we make such a difference.
