Katie Harp Speech Therapist – Profile and Clinical Excellence

From the age of 16, Katie Harp committed to pursuing a career in Speech and Language Therapy and graduated from the University of Reading in 2006. Katie Harp is qualified as Clinical Lead Speech ad Language Therapist (MRCSLT, MHCPC).

With over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare setting, Katie currently works at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability with adults who have an acquired neurological impairment. Her role entails providing intervention, via assessment, disability management and therapy, to individuals who have experienced brain injuries. Katie focuses on dealing with swallowing difficulties, communication impairments and tracheostomy management.

Katie is also the Director of Harp Healthcare Training & Support. She provides consultations with access to highly skilled allied health professionals including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
