Theophelia Anum Registered Nurse – Profile and Clinical Excellence

Theophelia Anum, known as Theo, has been a qualified adult nurse for almost a decade. She has worked in various health settings and different NHS trusts. Theo is an open and patient-centered nurse who always ensures her patients are at the center of her care, continually working to develop her skills and knowledge.

She began her nursing career in the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU), providing a solid base of skills for clinically unstable patients requiring intense, skilled nursing interventions. Over the years, Theo has expanded her skills and knowledge across various clinical areas, including serving as a charge nurse in an Acute Care of the Elderly ward and a cardiovascular acute ward, where she developed her management and clinical skills.

To further her abilities and travel across the UK, Theo worked for an agency and later for the vaccination and immunisation service, enhancing her capability to work in high-pressure, fast-moving environments. Her experience in agency settings has allowed her to expand her clinical skills and work autonomously in community settings while growing her management ability and experience.

Theo is a highly motivated individual and an excellent communicator. Her extensive nursing experience and skills have enabled her to maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. Ambitious and hard-working, she continually pushes herself to succeed in new challenges and approaches each role with diligence, competence, and drive. Capable of working under pressure, Theo thrives in fast-paced environments. She is currently working as a manager and part of a team setting up a new NHS service aimed at reducing hospital admissions and facilitating early discharge, which includes caring for clients in their homes or places of residence.
