Bhawna is a Chartered Physiotherapist qualified in 2007 from Delhi University in India and then pursued her interest in Neuroscience and completed M.Sc. Neurorehabilitation from Brunel University in London in 2009.

She has been working in the UK in both NHS, private and charitable organisations since 2009 and is HCPC registered. She has worked at quite a few renowned teaching hospitals in London. Also, she honed her rehabilitation specialist skills by working in inpatient set up i.e. elderly rehab, ICU (General, Neuro and cardiac), pre and post surgery rehab dealing with cardiopulmonary, respiratory rehab, fractures and general mobilisation). Not only she is an expert in rehab for Joint replacements surgeries but also sports injuries.

Bhawna specialises in Neurophysiotherapy including cases like stroke, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, Guillain Barre, M.S., MND and many others. She has treated cases with long term neurological disorders needing tracheostomy care and spasticity management, splinting and 24 hour postural needs with wheelchair adaptations. She has experience with long term case management as well.

She has presented posters on National level, completed spinal cord injury, advanced respiratory courses, Bridges course in stroke and other neurological disorders.
