Dr Shakarchi has qualified in Medicine from St Georges Hospital Medical School as part of the University of London. He trained initially in anesthetics and intensive care and subsequently undertook postgraduate training as a GP in London becoming a member of the Royal College of GPs.

Dr Shakarchi has been a GP principal for 35 years initially in a large practice in Buckinghamshire and subsequently at Belgrave Medical Centre near Sloane Square in Chelsea. He successfully ran his own practice for several years there and had a large patient following.

He has vast experience in a wide array of acute and chronic medical problems. He also has an interest in men’s health, child health and skin problems. He is also focused on lifestyle and preventative medicine. He understands the health impacts and demands faced by busy executives and their families. His Chelsea practice has allowed him to focus on personalized coordinated care, build trust with his patients and practice Concierge medicine with emphasis on preventative care.

Dr Shakarchi has wide experience in home visiting. He has worked for many years undertaking private visits and coordinating the care of patients between hospitals and home. He has also worked for London Central and West Unscheduled Care for over 20 years undertaking out-of-hours home visits including many medical emergencies.

He has also undertaken many online, video and telephone consultations in his own practice.
