Ben Spiegelberg Orthopaedic Surgeon – Profile and Clinical Excellence

Ben Spiegelberg is a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in adult hip and knee surgery. He studied medicine at Imperial College School of Medicine, London (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital) qualifying in 2004.

He underwent specialist training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), Stanmore and subsequent Specialist Registrar training on the Oxford registrar rotation centred at Oxford University.
Sub-speciality training followed in hip and knee reconstruction in Canada on the internationally renowned University of Western Ontario Adult Reconstruction Fellowship program.

After, he spent a further few months back at the RNOH with the Joint Reconstruction Unit before taking up his consultancy at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Doctor Spiegelberg sees and treats many orthopaedic conditions and fractures. His sub-specialty interests are hip and knee surgery, including knee and hip replacement, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy, cartilage transplantation and revision joint replacements.

Also he remains active in research looking into various aspects of orthopaedic surgery of the hip and knee and continues to publish and present research at national and international meetings.
