Your Physiotherapy Home Visit
Receiving physiotherapy in the comfort of your home is particularly beneficial, especially during times when mobility is a challenge. Medelit’s Mobile Physiotherapist Service ensures that you receive care from only the finest chartered Physiotherapists, all while offering coordination and scheduling tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Initial Appointment
The initial consultation will last approximately an hour and involve a thorough assessment looking at your strength and tone, movement, balance, coordination, walking and functional activities and the reasons for which you are starting a physiotherapy.
This will be followed by an effective treatment specifically addressed to your problem. This initial appointment will be completed with the drawing of a treatment plan that you will discuss with your physiotherapist.
Follow up Appointments
These appointments will include treatments helping you return to work, sport or any other daily activities you may be limited with as a consequence of your injury, pain or medical/neurological condition. Standard follow-up sessions with Medelit are of 45 minutes as we believe that this is the optimal timing for most patients, but 1 hour sessions are available on request.
Referrals and Health Insurance
You are free to self-refer to our service – a GP referral is not needed. Contact between our team and your doctor is not compulsory, but we do suggest it, in your best interest. For this reason our physiotherapists do appreciate receiving referrals for the patients they treat.
