What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)?
Manual Lymphatic drainage and circulatory massage or manual lymph drainage, is a technique developed in Germany for the treatment of oedeoma and lymphedema, an accumulation of fluid.
The purpose of the treatment, which is different from a traditional massage technique, is to encourage, through a gentle massage of specific areas, lymph to flow around the body, taking with it toxins and excess fluid gathered in the tissues.
Manual Lymphatic drainage increases the flow of lymph, therefore supporting the immune system. Harmful substances are removed from the tissues and neutralized in the nodes. For this reason, lymphatic drainage also has a detoxifying effect.
Lymphatic drainage massage is also useful when working with clients who have sports injuries.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage provided by Highly Experienced Physiotherapists, directly in the Comfort and Privacy of your Home.

When is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) useful?
