Dr. Shaughan Ude – Profile and Clinical Excellence
Dr. Shaughan Ude has been practicing medicine for the past 20 years, specialising as a consultant physician in diabetes and endocrinology. His postgraduate specialty training took place in the East of England, including 2 years at the prestigious Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.
Dr. Ude is dual certified, also working as a general physician, and is currently employed at Maidstone General Hospital.
With experience in both tertiary hospital and district hospital settings, Dr. Ude is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the Society for Endocrinology, and the British Diabetes Association. His expertise encompasses all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology, addressing pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid, and calcium disorders.
In his diabetes practice, Dr. Ude manages type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, antenatal diabetes, and young adult diabetes, with a particular focus on type 3C diabetes. He emphasizes patient-oriented care, ensuring that the patient remains the central focus of every consultation.
Dedicated to staying abreast of the latest developments in his field, Dr. Ude regularly updates his practice in accordance with current guidelines and recommendations.
