Conditions Our Gynaecologists See
If your periods are irregular or painful, your hormones feel out of balance, or an intimate problem keeps coming back, a consultant gynaecologist can see you at home or by video.
Gynaecologist Home Visits — Service Details
Gynaecological problems are personal, and often easier to talk about at home.
Consultant Gynaecologists
Our gynaecologists are GMC-registered consultants, so your concern is assessed at consultant level from the first appointment.
Hormones and Your Cycle
Cycle, hormone and PCOS concerns often need blood tests. These can be taken at home, so results are ready to discuss with your gynaecologist.
What We Don’t Currently Cover
Our gynaecology service is for gynaecological concerns during the reproductive years. We do not currently offer pregnancy care (obstetrics), menopause care, gynaecological surgery, urogynaecology (bladder and pelvic floor problems) or gynaecological cancer care. For these, please speak to your GP.

GMC-Registered Consultant Gynaecologists Visiting You at Home.
What Our Patients Say
Very good experience. From the process to an appointment till the visit of the doctor. Even the afterwork with a detailed report. Appointment on time, good treatment. For sure, the right adress for visit of a doctor at home.
The service is impeccable...i was provided with an acupuncturist covering my area immediately and the practitioner was very professional and gave a medical report after each session. Also an invoice was provided which was acceptable by my insurance AXA PPP...
Great service all around. It was easy to arrange the appointment and make payment. Nurse came to my home to administer an infusion. Very friendly and professional nurse who was a pleasure to have in my home.
A very professional medical group. Responded immediately to my mums caring needs. We were desperate for a home visit and they answered promptly and allocated a very thorough doctor for us. Doctor made mum very relaxed because mum is usually a very nervous patient. I will recommend others to use them. Very satisfied with their services. Way to go Medelit. Well done!
The speech therapist who visited me at home was very attentive, patience and positive. She had time to address all of my questions and give me much needed guidance. Very pleased with the service and would highly recommend. Thanks, From a pleased mother.
A gynaecologist is a doctor who specialises in the female reproductive system. Our gynaecologists see women for period pain and irregular periods, hormone imbalance, PCOS, painful sex and vaginismus, thrush and vaginal infections, and contraception advice. Whether a test or treatment is right in your case is something your gynaecologist will discuss with you.
Yes. You can book a gynaecologist home visit or video consultation directly, with no GP referral needed. If you have letters or test results from your GP or a hospital, please share them when you book, so your gynaecologist can read them before the appointment and make the most of your time together.
The fee is shown before you book. Enter your address when you check availability and you will see the home visit and video consultation fees straight away. There is no membership or subscription: the fee shown is the fee for the consultation, and you pay online once you accept the time your gynaecologist offers.
Yes. You can see a gynaecologist by secure video call, from home or wherever is convenient. A video consultation suits you if home visits are not yet available where you live, or if you prefer not to have a visit at home. You share your preferred time and pay online, just as for a home visit.
Recent blood results, any scan reports, GP or hospital letters, the dates of your last few periods and a list of the medicines you take. If you use contraception, note which method and since when. Having these to hand helps your gynaecologist understand your history quickly, whether you are seen at home or by video.
Gynaecologist home visits are currently available in some areas of London, and the service is expanding. Enter your postcode when you check availability to see straight away whether a gynaecologist can visit you. If home visits are not yet available where you live, you can book a video consultation instead.
No. The gynaecology service is for planned appointments, not emergencies. For severe pain, heavy bleeding or any concern in pregnancy, call 999, go to A&E or contact NHS 111. If you are unsure whether your symptoms are urgent, NHS 111 can tell you where to go.
