Assessment, Report & Treatment Plan
Your first video session includes a thorough history of how your injury or condition started, and an evaluation of test movements observed on video. You receive a written report and a personalised treatment plan, with a set of exercises to follow.

Every physiotherapist prices their own sessions, and that figure is displayed on their profile before you commit to anything, letting you weigh cost against their background. You simply pay the appointment fee when you accept the time your physiotherapist proposes.
Yes. Beyond registration and vetting, you can read each physiotherapist’s background and fee on their profile before you book, and the same standard of checks applies to every clinician on the platform.
Not at all — self-referral is fine, exactly as it is for a physiotherapy home visit, so you can book straight away without seeing anyone else first. We’re not obliged to loop your GP in, though sharing any referral letter you already hold helps your physiotherapist plan the appointment in advance.
Your physiotherapist will say so without delay if a hands-on assessment becomes necessary at any point during your online care, rather than leaving you unsure. At that point you can switch to a Physiotherapy Home Visit instead, where one of our home-visiting physiotherapists takes over in person.
A working camera and audio and a decent internet connection are all it takes. Your physiotherapist will talk you through where to position the device so your movements are visible throughout the assessment.
It can’t — Medelit’s online physiotherapy is built for planned, non-urgent care, never for emergencies. Ring 999 or head to A&E if the situation is serious, and use NHS 111 when you need urgent guidance that stops short of an emergency.
