Instead, we will send you a highly qualified and experienced nurse or phlebotomist, directly in the comfort of your home.

How do I Book a Home Blood Test in London?
Before arranging your appointment, we will ask that you either send us your Doctor’s prescription or that you let us know what blood tests you require; you can see and choose which blood tests you need directly from our online blood test schedule and fee list. As you will see, we also provide a list of our discounted ready-made panels that you can request if you need multiple tests or a specific screening. This allows us to provide a price for the blood tests you need and organise for the Nurse to have the correct equipment for your home blood test appointment. Once your appointment is confirmed, our Nurse or phlebotomist will come to your home at an agreed day and time to collect the blood for the tests. What happens after my Blood Tests Appointment?
We understand that when you are concern about your health, waiting for your results can be stressful. Once the laboratory has received your sample, we will immediately deliver your results as soon as they are ready. Usually, results come back within 1 or 2 days at the most. In some cases, however, the lab processing time can be slightly longer and your results may come ready a little later. If you are concerned on the time of delivery of your results, we can check this with the lab prior to your blood test appointment.
If your Doctor is available to comment on your results for you, we can send the results through to them as well as to you. However, if you cannot discuss results with your Doctor, we can provide a video-consultation or a home visit with one of our expert Doctors for you.
FAQs on Blood Tests at Home
Usually samples are collected during the morning, from 7 am to 9 am, from Monday to Friday. This is because many blood tests require for you to be at an empty stomach. However, if you require a different timing for your appointment, we will arrange for your appointment at the timing that is most convenient for you.
You can reschedule your blood test screening appointment by calling or emailing our Operations Team. We require at least 24 hours of notice for appointment changes.
The blood sample collected by the nurse will be delivered to one of our partnered accredited Labs.
Most blood tests must be collected on a empty stomach. Hence, make sure you do not eat breakfast prior to your test. If you need to collect your urine as well, remember to get the proper container and collect the first one of the same morning.
We will send you your blood test results as they are ready. Most test results are available within a couple of days, some sooner and some take a longer, depending on the specific blood test.
Our Home Nursing Service is covered by most major health insurance companies. Once your home blood test is completed, you will receive an invoice that can be sent through to your insurance for a refund. Please contact us for more information on this.
