Initial appointment
The initial consultation lasts approximately an hour: a thorough assessment of your strength and tone, movement, balance, coordination, walking and functional activities, and of the reasons you are starting physiotherapy.
An effective treatment addressed to your problem follows, and the appointment ends with a treatment plan that you discuss with your physiotherapist.
Follow-up appointments
Follow-up treatments help you return to work, sport or any other daily activity limited by your injury, pain or medical/neurological condition. Standard sessions last 45 minutes — the optimal timing for most patients — and 1-hour sessions are available on request.
We can plan a regular schedule or organise visits one at a time, with the same practitioner and special-rate packages, according to your needs.
Referrals and health insurance
You are free to self-refer to our service — a GP referral is not needed. Contact between our team and your doctor is not compulsory, but we suggest it in your best interest; for this reason our physiotherapists appreciate receiving referrals for the patients they treat.
