Consultant Home Visits — Service Details
A consultant comes to wherever you are, so a specialist opinion no longer means a trip to hospital.
At Home, Hotel or Office
Choose where you would like to be seen: your own home, a hotel room or your workplace. Enter that address when you check availability and you will see which consultants can reach you.
With or Without a Referral
If your GP has referred you, send the letter with your booking. If not, you can book directly; your consultant agrees a time with you either way.
Consultants Chosen One by One
A specialist joins our network only after recruitment, vetting, interview and quality checks, and a new specialty is added only once the right consultant is in place.
Or by Video
When a visit is not practical, many consultants also see patients through our online doctor service, from wherever you are.

No. A referral letter from your GP is welcome and helps the consultant prepare, but you can book directly without one.
