Before contacting us, here is some information that might answer your questions:

We give priority to two aspects for the timing of our home visits: we do our best to be prompt and to meet your preferred timing for the visit.

We provide General practice and nursing services in english within a maximum of 2-3 hours and guarantee home visits with our English speaking paediatricians within 24 hours.

All other home visiting services including physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychological counselling, midwifery and podiatry are provided within no more than 2-3 days.

Medelit is not an emergency service and cannot carry out services provided by A&Es. On busy days we might take up to 2-3 hours to send you a Doctor.

If you think you have a medical emergency please call 118 or go to the nearest hospital.

The costs for a house call are not significantly higher than those requested on average for a consultation in a private clinic or doctor’s office in Milan.

The fee is adjusted only so as to ensure coverage for the healthcare professional’s transfer and is equivalent to the costs of taking a cab in the city.

Medelit also provides many forfeit and discounted services.

No cancellation fee will be applied if you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

If you payed by credit card we will simply not proceed in billing; if you payed in advance through T/T we will transfer the money back to you (excluding bank costs).

A 50% cancellation fee will be applied if you cancel your confirmed appointment between 24 hours and 1 hour before the scheduled time of your appointment.

Please note that Medelit will not apply any reimbursement in the absence of a request for cancellation or when this is communicated to us at less than an hour from the scheduled appointment.

Full payment will be required in these cases, and this includes cash payments which will have to be fully provided either by sending the cash through secured mail or through a bank transfer or credit card payment.

If you need to request a change or cancel your appointment with us you can call us.

If you need a change in your appointment timing we will do our best to fulfil your request.

However, we cannot assure to be able to apply changes when requested with a notice of less than 24 hours from your appointment time. In these cases, if you are unable to keep your appointment timing, a cancellation fee may be applied by the Professional for the late notice.

By phone, fax or email at the moment of your booking. Your credit card information will be retained securely and will not be billed until after the consultation has taken place.
CASH at the moment of the Visit.
Please take notice we only accept cash payment in Euros.
Your booking will be confirmed upon arrival of your payment receipt.

Your invoice will be sent by mail at the address you will leave us at the moment of booking. If requested, we can also send a copy of your invoice by email (pdf).
