How It Works
Choose your test and your address
Press Choose & Book, select the test you need — an ultrasound, a Doppler, an ECG, a Holter — and enter the address where you are staying to see who can come and at what fee.
Book — no prescription for most tests
Scans, Dopplers, ECG and Holter monitoring can be booked without a doctor’s request. If your test needs preparation (fasting, drinking water beforehand), you receive the instructions when the appointment is confirmed.
The test comes to you
The clinician arrives with the portable equipment the test requires. An ultrasound typically takes 15–20 minutes, and where no laboratory work is involved the findings are discussed with you on the spot and the report follows in digital format.
Appointments are usually arranged within 48–72 hours, any day of the year, wherever suits you in Italy: your home, a hotel room, your workplace, a care home or a hospital ward. On request the report is forwarded directly to your treating doctor — in Italy or back home.

Ultrasound scans of practically every region — full, upper and lower abdomen, liver, kidneys and urinary tract, thyroid, neck, salivary glands, breast, testicles, chest, joints, muscles and tendons, skin and soft tissue — plus colour Dopplers of the limbs, carotid arteries and abdominal vessels, echocardiogram, ECG, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (Holter), audiometry, electromyography, endoscopy of the nose, larynx and pharynx. Spirometry is booked through our medical services, and blood or urine sampling through our nurses.
Not for the tests on this page: scans, Doppler studies, ECG, Holter, audiometry and electromyography can be booked directly. Laboratory blood tests are different — the nurse needs either an Italian prescription or simply the list of analyses you want, which are then run privately at our partner laboratories.
Yes, and this is exactly what the service was built for. Tourists, business travellers, students and expats can have the test in a hotel room, a serviced apartment or an office, with everything explained in English and a report in English to take back to the doctor at home. There is no Italian health-card or residency requirement.

Some do require preparation — fasting for an abdominal ultrasound, a full bladder for a pelvic scan, no creams on the skin for a Doppler. You receive the exact instructions for your test when the appointment is confirmed, so there are no surprises on the day.
