Home visits with our visiting nurses and carers can be booked 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays directly through our online booking system. Urgent Home visits are usually promptly available, according to the nurses’ available appointment slots. Moreover, we are committed to send you the same nurse if you were to need further or long-term assistance, so to reduce any related stress for the patient.

Please take notice however, that Medelit’s nurses do not provide an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, you should refer to the closest A&E.

Our nurses also work with prominent doctors, surgeons and hospitals with whom they can plan your home care, give regular feedback on your progress and keep updated on your relevant medical information.

One-on-one nursing care includes assessment and treatment related to new medical diagnoses or recovery from surgery, illness or injury. Our registered nurses provide emotional support while teaching patients and family members how to manage medications, recuperative care and treatments at home.

Prescriptions and Reports

For some of our nursing services, a doctor’s prescription may be required: This is to ensure you receive care at the highest standards in terms of safety. If you do not have a Doctor’s prescription, we can easily arrange either a Home Visit or an Online Video Consultation with one of our english-speaking Doctors, who will be able to evaluate your condition and provide any necessary prescription.

We provide a full report for all our Nursing services, which we can also forward to your GP in case of need.
