The house call will be delivered, according to your requests, at your home, hotel room, office or any other adequate location you consider comfortable.

We offer home visits in the cities of Milan, Turin, Genoa, Florence, Rome, Cagliari and Naples but many of our healthcare professionals are also available to carry out visits in out-of-area for the city hinterland area.

Many of our professionals are available to visit also in areas that we do not usually cover (including other Italian cities and even foreign countries). This will normally imply an extra cost to cover time and travel expenses. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any out-of-area request. We will do all we can to assist you wherever you need us.

Payment can be made by:

  • CREDIT CARD:
    By phone, fax or email at the moment of your booking. Your credit card information will be retained securely and will not be billed until after the consultation has taken place.
  • CASH at the moment of the Visit.
    Please take notice we only accept cash payment in Euros.
  • BANK TRANSFER:
    Your booking will be confirmed upon arrival of your payment receipt.

T/T and Credit Card payment will allow us to offer a discount on the price of the consultation thanks to the direct method of payment.

Your invoice will be sent by mail at the address you will leave us at the moment of booking. If requested, we can also send a copy of your invoice by email (pdf).

The costs for a house call are not significantly higher than those requested on average for a consultation in a private clinic or doctor’s office.

The fee is adjusted only so as to ensure coverage for the healthcare professional’s transfer and is equivalent to the costs of taking a cab in the city.

Medelit also provides many packages and discounted services.

No cancellation fee will be applied if you cancel your appointment more than 48 hours before the scheduled time. However, a 10,00 Euro fee may apply to cover admin costs and commissions.

A 50% cancellation fee will apply for all cancellations between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled time for the appointment.

A 100% cancellation fee will be applied if you cancel your confirmed appointment within the 24 hours before the scheduled time of your appointment.

Please note that Medelit will not apply any reimbursement in the absence of a written request for cancellation.

The above conditions apply also in case of requests for changes to scheduled appointments.

For discounted packages canceled prior to the end of the package, refunds will be calculated on the full (non-discounted) fee for the services provided within the discounted package.

Anyone can have an emergency, and that includes our Healthcare Professionals.

In case of an unforeseen emergency, a healthcare professional may need to cancel a confirmed appointment. Please take notice that Medelit is a home healthcare service, not an emergency service or Hospital with 24/24hr on-site staff.

In these cases, as soon as we are informed, we will immediately seek a substitution for the booked service; we cannot however unfortunately guarantee that this will be at the same date and/or time as the confirmed appointment.

A full refund will be provided in those cases where you are not happy with the alternative date and time for your new appointment proposals.

If you need to request a change or cancel your appointment with us you can call us.

If you need a change in your appointment timing we will do our best to fulfil your request.

However, we cannot assure to be able to apply changes when requested with a notice of less than 24 hours from your appointment time. In these cases, if you are unable to keep your appointment timing, a cancellation fee may be applied by the Professional for the late notice.
